Job description
We're seeking an entrepreneurial Product Marketing Manager to drive our go-to-market strategy and positioning for our flagship product Fynapse. The ideal candidate bridge the gap between product development and customer acquisition, ensuring our solutions effectively address market needs while maximizing revenue growth. As a newly created role, you will be responsible for defining and driving how Aptitude Software positions and messages Fynape in the marketplace. The aim is to enable all teams (sales, marketing, customer success and partnership) across our focused markets, regions, industries and personas to highlight the unique value Fynapse creates, and close deals.
Ideally you will have a background in early stage technology businesses so you have the tenacity and maturity to make things happen. Experience of data technology would also be an advantage. You will have a keen interest in our space keeping abreast of market trends and competitor offerings to ensure Aptitude is always positioned in the best possible way.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive product marketing strategies aligned with company north star objectives and market opportunities
Lead competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and inform product positioning
Create compelling messaging and value propositions that resonate with target audiences
Collaborate with product teams to shape product roadmaps based on customer insights
Oversee the creation of marketing materials including sales collateral, web content, and product demos
Train and enable sales teams with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively sell our products
Establish metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize campaigns accordingly
Manage product launches and go-to-market initiatives from concept to execution
Work closely with marketing team enabling them to optimize campaigns, search, websites to drive qualified pipeline
Own deal win/loss analysis, competitor analysis and market research and feed this back into product, campaigns, sales, strategy and the wider business
Own all product collateral including the product areas of the website, datasheets, demos, cheat sheets, battlecards and go to market tools
Own our analyst relationships with Gartner

Develop thought leadership that positions the company as an industry innovator
Our customers, partners and GTM teams understand what Fynapse is, the value Fynapse offers and the problems it solves
Experience
Product marketing experience, in a software business, preferably SaaS and preferably in an early-stage environment
Experience working under own initiative to get things done – they are product marketing number 1
Experience of taking a complex product and presenting in the simplest most compelling way
Have a product marketing best practice ‘playbook’ so they can make an impact fast
