Aptitude Software is looking for a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to spearhead the growth of Fynapse across the APAC region. This is a "hunter" role designed for a strategic seller who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments.

You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within the Office of the CFO. Fynapse is our cutting-edge, cloud-native digital finance platform that helps global enterprises automate complex accounting and accelerate financial insights. Your mission is to establish Fynapse as the gold standard for finance transformation in the APAC market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition: Execute a strategic sales play to win opportunities within Tier 1 and Tier 2 enterprise accounts.

  • Pipeline Generation: While supported by marketing, you are expected to self-generate a significant portion of your pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry leadership.

  • C-Suite Engagement: Build deep, consultative relationships with CFOs, Controllers, and Heads of Finance Transformation to understand their pain points and articulate the ROI of Fynapse.

  • Complex Sales Management: Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles (6–12+ months) involving Finance, IT, and Procurement.

  • Regional Strategy: Collaborate with Global Sales Leadership to refine the APAC go-to-market strategy, identifying high-growth sectors and geographic priorities.

Career Path: The Road to Leadership

Success in this role creates a natural bridge to Sales Management. We are looking for a candidate who can prove the model, establish the territory, and eventually transition into a Regional Sales Manager or Sales Director role as the team expands. You will eventually assist in onboarding and mentoring new hires and will have a "seat at the table" with global leadership to define the hiring plan and commercial strategy for the region.

Whilst this role is based from our Sydney office, we support hybrid working.

To us at Aptitude, hybrid working means that our employees come together for 2-days per week at their local office. It’s an opportunity for our teams to collaborate, solve problems together and to be engaged and involved in the wider community of our business.

We ask employees to come into the office every Wednesday and give you the flexibility to choose your other day from either Tuesday or Thursday.

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS sales, specifically selling financial, ERP, or EPM software.

  • Domain Expertise: A proven track record of selling directly to the Office of the CFO. You speak the language of finance (IFRS, revenue recognition, ledger consolidation, and financial agility).

  • The "Hunter" Mentality: You possess the discipline to build your own territory from scratch. You don't wait for leads; you create them.

  • Leadership Potential: A desire to eventually lead a team, evidenced by a collaborative mindset and a history of sharing "winning plays" with colleagues.

  • APAC Nuance: Deep understanding of the business cultures and procurement processes within key APAC markets (e.g., Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong).

  • Technical Literacy: Ability to discuss cloud-native architecture and data integration at a high level with IT stakeholders.
