Content Marketing Lead
- Hybrid
- London, England, United Kingdom
- Marketing
Job description
Aptitude Software is at a defining moment. We are growing our flagship platform Fynapse, the Finance ERP, and building a new category around Finance Data and Intelligence.
This is not a traditional content role. This is an opportunity to shape how we go to market, define the narrative in the market, and build a content engine from the ground up.
Fynapse is designed for a new era of finance. Real-time, finance-grade data. Continuous close. AI-ready decision making. We are challenging how finance teams think about ERP, and how CFOs operate in an AI-driven world. To support this, we are building a modern growth engine. One that combines brand, demand, ABM, and partner ecosystems to drive pipeline across complex enterprise accounts in banking, insurance, payments, and high-growth technology.
As Content Marketing Lead, you will sit at the centre of this. We are looking for someone who wants to disrupt a stagnant market. Someone who can tell compelling stories, challenge conventional thinking, and push us to be more creative in how we show up. Someone who can take the complex and make it clear. And take what the market doesn’t yet understand, and make it something they can’t ignore.
This is a rare opportunity to join at zero-to-one. To define the strategy, not inherit it. To build the machine that drives growth.
The Role
You will own and build the Fynapse content engine from the ground up. This is a zero-to-one role with responsibility for how we show up in the market and how content drives pipeline. We are not looking for someone to manage content. We are looking for someone to define it.
You will:
Build an always-on content engine that consistently generates pipeline, with clear ownership of strategy, production, and distribution
Define and evolve the Fynapse narrative, setting the standard for how we position the category and communicate with the market
Produce high-quality, multi-format content across written, video, and audio, with a strong point of view and a clear commercial outcome
Own the voice of our CEO, shaping and scaling an opinionated, credible presence across LinkedIn, podcasts, events, and beyond
Turn customer and market insight into sharp, differentiated stories that cut through
Lead customer storytelling end-to-end, from interview to multi-channel content system
Build and execute modern distribution strategies that go beyond SEO, including communities, partnerships, social, and owned channels
Work directly with sales, partners, and regional teams to ensure content is driving real commercial impact
Set and maintain a high quality bar across all content, whether produced internally or through agencies
Move fast, prioritise effectively, and operate with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
We expect strong judgment, high standards, and a bias for action. You should be comfortable operating with ambiguity, challenging thinking, and pushing for better. This role is for someone who wants to build, not inherit. Someone who cares about craft, but ultimately measures success by impact.
What We Offer:
We’ll offer you a competitive salary plus bonus scheme, as well as the following benefits:
ShareSave scheme - ability to purchase company shares on preferential terms
Private healthcare
Income protection and group life insurance
Pension Scheme
Company Funded Health Cashplan
Employee Assistance Programme
Access to Private Dental Benefits
Flexible / hybrid working options
Enhanced Family Friendly Leave for adoption, maternity and paternity
Bike 2 Work Scheme
Employee Referral Bonus
Where You’ll Be:
This role is based from our London office and we support hybrid working
To us at Aptitude, hybrid working means that our employees come together for 2-days per week at their local office. It’s an opportunity for our teams to collaborate, solve problems together and to be engaged and involved in the wider community of our business.
We ask employees to come into the office every Wednesday and give you the flexibility to choose your other day
